Nelson said that they are still on a testing stage but assured customers that Verizon will add support for the Samsung Pay app in their Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones.
Samsung Pay is applicable on Verizon's Samsung Galaxy S7and S7 Edge, although it will not come pre-installed. However, once it is available for download, users may have the option to add or remove the app. It could be downloaded for free at Google Play Store with a 3.2 MB file size.

International Business Times reported that Samsung announced the commercial global launch of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in the U.S. and Australia on March 11. Verizon also announced that its S7 and S7 Edge line will support Samsung Pay on the same date. In addition to the S7 and S7 Edge, Samsung Pay is also works on the Galaxy S6 series and Galaxy Note 5. Aside from Verizon, other carriers in the U.S. such as AT& T, T- Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular also support Samsung Pay.
Lawyer Herald reported that different mobile carriers had set their shipment dates and launch of Samsung's flagship phones. T- Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint were expected to launch the devices earlier than the official release. The reason for the early launch was the bulk of preorders they received from customers. Verizon, on the other hand, decided to follow Samsung's official launch.
Verizon's Galaxy S7 has a retail price of $672 or AU $896, while the S7 Edge is priced at $792 or AU $1,056. The carrier also offers installment plans for these gadgets payable in 24 months.
