John Wick 2 Update: Keanu Reeves shows off gun shooting ability in released video

More elaborate action sequences are expected of Keanu Reeves for John Wick 2 as a video recently surfaced on his preparation for his return. Filming is currently underway for the flick but it is near to its completion to move ahead with post-production.

John Wick will be back for another round of action in the upcoming sequel, and to prepare for the requirements of the character both in skill and physicality, a video of lead star Keanu Reeves has surfaced which features him showing his gun skills.

As reported by Independent, the video was released by a Los Angeles based gun store Taran Tactical Innovations and shows Reeves shooting dummies and shifting guns within 37 seconds. The video could be a testament of the actor's previous comment that the sequel will feature more elaborate action sequences than the previous film.

"For us it was just what is the next chapter? What is the continuation of this story? If the first one was a black belt, then this one is third degree black belt. It's such a fun project and a great character", Reeves said. Filming initially took place in New York's China Town where Reeves was spotted fighting two attackers.

According to CinemaBlend, the cast has moved to Rome afterwards. The news about the location came from box office analyst Exhibitor Relations who shared the info on Twitter, "Keanu Reeves will travel to Rome to kick some Italian ass", they wrote.

Reeves will be joined by model/actress Ruby Rose who is speculated to play as the head of security of a female crime boss, per Morning Ledger. Bridget Moynahan and Ian McShane are also back as Helen Wick and Winston respectively.

John Wick 2 is directed by Chad Stahelksi from screenplay by Derek Kolstad. It also stars Laurence Fishburne, John Leguizamo, Thomas Sadoski, and Lance Reddick among many others. It is slated to arrive in theaters in February 10, 2017.
