Although Apple patrons are looking forward to the company's March event, many are still wondering about the release of the upcoming MacBook Air 2016. This laptop is speculated to be unveiled during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this June.

According to Vine Report, there is an ongoing discount for the current version of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air at several authorized resellers. The price was notably slashed at around $320 making some tech enthusiasts speculate that new models will be unveiled sometime soon.

Based on some information, the introduction of the next generation of MacBook Air may happen during a scheduled event this June. Although the said occasion is still four months away, industry followers predict that the Cupertino-based tech company will make the wait worth it for Apple's patrons.

When it comes to the specs and features, Ecumenical News noted that the MacBook Air 2016 is expected to be armed with the Intel's sixth generation Skylake processing chip. This chipset is predicted to be coupled with the OS X. The revolutionary Skylake chip could add to 20 percent of enhanced processing and 30 percent of battery efficiency. The processor is also said to redefine the mobile and computing landscape.

Aside from that, the MacBook Air 2016 may also have all-in-one connecting port and a USB-C port that could set the trend in other similar devices from other tech companies in 2016.

MacBook Air 2016 is expected to add three more products to the lineup which include a12-inch, 13-inch, and the 15-inch version. As for the price, patrons can expect it to be slightly higher compared to its predecessors that recently received a mark down on their price tags.

In related news, Apple is planning to add Siri to the OS X. With this, the Mac's soon-to-be-released operating system update, the OS X 10.12, will have the Siri feature. Since 2012, the Cupertino-based company has reportedly been testing Siri to the OS X. But it was only this year that the tech giant decided to launch the feature on Macs, most probably in the annual WWDC this June.

Siri will be positioned on the top right corner of the Menu Bar. If clicked, the feature's interface will pop up in the top right corner of the screen. Siri will also be made accessible in its panel at the System Preferences, which will let the users enable the features through a keyboard shortcut.

Apple Inc. hasn't confirmed anything yet, so this information should be taken lightly. With its nearing release, more details should surface soon.
