There have been a lot of rumors about the HTC 10 also known as HTC One M10 surfacing all over the internet. The latest is two leaked images revealing the upcoming flagship smartphone of HTC to have chamfered edges and finger print scanner.
According to International Business Times, there are two new photos of HTC One M10 that surfaced, unveiling the device's key details. One of the leaked image indicates the live screen with a weather app which hinted it was taken in Beijing.
Based on the images, the HTC One M10 will have a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button right below the screen with two capacitive buttons on the sides. This was in contrast with its predecessor, the HTC One M9, that has arrived featuring onscreen buttons.
The other photo showed that the back of the phone has chamfered edges and it seems that ergonomics could be the reason behind such edges, rather than aesthetics. With this kind of design, holding the HTC 10 will be much easier and comfortable for its users.
Aside from the chamfered edges and fingerprint scanner, it was previously reported that the HTC One M10 is likely to be engineered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip: a quad-core number that will top Qualcomm's range when it's released. Although, a tipster named LlabTooFer suggests the upcoming HTC flagship device could come in two variants: the 820 powered one for Europe and America, and an MTK-based version for Chinese and South East Asian market.
The HTC One M10's processor is predicted to be paired with a 4GB of RAM, which will be required to power the 5.2-inches 1,440 x 2,560 display. There are also talks saying that this smartphone will be featuring a 4K display with 4,096 x 2,160 resolution screen, but this is not likely to happen as current models are stuck in 1080p. An internal memory of 64 or 128GB, a microSD slot, waterproofing, 3500mAh battery, 12-Ultrapixel camera and Android 6.0 Marshmallow are also expected from the device.
When it comes with the color, Crossmap noted that leakster named Evan Blass (@evleaks) claimed that the HTC One M10 could arrive in Carbon Gray, Glacier Silver (White Face), Glacier Silver (Black Face), and Topaz Gold variety of colors.
The HTC 10 also known as HTC One M10 is expected to make its first ever appearance on April 19 and it is predicted to cost just like the other high end phones available - around US$700. Nevertheless, HTC patrons should wait for further announcements as the aforementioned details are just based on speculations.
