Renowned Formula One racer Michael Schumacher is still on his way to recovery after a fatal skiing incident in 2013. While the news blackout is still ongoing former Ferrari executive Jean Todt said that he still has a relationship with the racer, and added that he is keeping an eye on the career of Michael's son, Mick.

With the lack of official updates from the Schumacher came the rumors about his health condition. According to Vine Report, Michael Schumacher was previously rumored to have been able to talk. Subsequent claims also suggested that he was already able to walk and was well on his way to faster recovery.

However, Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm was quick to deny such rumors stating saying that it is irresponsible and giving false hope to the racer's fans. Meanwhile, former Ferrari boss Jean Todt spoke about his relationship with Schumacher saying that he is still friends with the racer.

"My relationship with him has changed of course, but I still have a relationship with him. I'm still his friend", Todt said as reported by Fox Sports. "And my relationship with Corinna and the family has become much more intense. I feel a responsibility to stand by them.", he added.

Todt also commended Michael's son, Mick's rise in the racing scene. "Mick is fantastic; a great kid. That he has talent is unquestionable. Now it will depend on whether he is in the right team, has the right environment and how he handles the pressure", Todt stated.

As reported by Jobs N Hire, Kehm last spoke about Michael during an exhibit for the racer wherein she requested the fans to continue their support and patience for Michael's recovery. "We must accept it and hope with everything we have that with continued support and patience he will one day be back with us", she said.

The skiing accident that badly hit Schumacher took place in the French Alpine resort. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, before he was eventually allowed to go home where he is still taken care of by medical experts.
