Street Fighter V Online Rage Quitters Penalized by Capcom; Weekly Sweeps Ensured for Abusers

Capcom's Street Fighter V has only been around for a few weeks and there are already cases that render gamers rather upset. The development team has spoken of the possible repercussions that some sneaky players opt to, especially as it somewhat saves them from utter failure.

As per Express, Street Fighter V has recently wonderful appraisal from the fans so far, along with the confession that Capcom was originally opting for a different visual approach in terms of character design. Now, something else that is quite a bit more unpleasant has reached the attention of Capcom and is expected to immediately be rectified.

According to Breath Cast, reports have gone around that there are gamers tend to rage quit out of battles since the early release of the game last month. So far, 30 players experienced docking in the League Points whenever they quit their battles, as Capcom penalized these said players with dropped LP and Rank as a consequence for their actions.

PC GamesN further added that the particular 30 accounts will be monitored continuously, as well as others that will further be investigated upon, and promises to make sweeps on a weekly basis. To further warn the players and avoid the aforementioned incidents, fans were informed that Capcom's system can now detect rage quit spammers even without the use of visual evidences such as screen caps or videos.

Street Fighter V was released last February 16th, 2016. The game was not only known for its admirable character outfits, but also for the ability of the gamers to play under cross-platform conditions. Capcom was once advised to tune down their female characters' over-sexualized visual designs and as the developers complied, another question is now raised as to which other characters will come for time-release. Stay tuned for more news on Capcom's Street Fighter V as well as the proposed titles that the development team plans on creating in the near future.
