Quantum Break Official Launching on April 15th; Remedy Entertainment Confirms No DLCs Coming; Alan Wake to Return?

By

Remedy Entertainment's Quantum Break continues to be an utterly strong talk of the town since it was announced. Past news spoke of the tendencies that the game will offer, but now, as the game draws near, gamers are given one more bit of information that will be quite intriguing.

According to UpRoxx, Remedy Entertainment has been known for its time stopper and classically eerie titles, such as the ever-popular Max Payne and now, the presumed returning of Alan Wake. Though these games are of utmost interest to those who have played it before, the television show-based Quantum Break may be what actually put the company up the hot seat so far.

With amazing graphics, an all-star cast and an unceasing hype, Quantum Break is already showing the world what it can do as a whole. However, Remedy Entertainment may not choose to blend in with the rising trend of Season Passes and downloadable contents as per Independent.

Noted by Twinfinite, Remedy's Communication Director Thomas Puha was quoted, "There are always plenty of ideas discussed in the initial stages of creating a game - way more than humanly possible to fit into one game. That said, we are very happy with what we are shipping, but there have definitely been challenges along the way. We don't have any DLC plans, but that's not to say we don't have plenty of ideas for the future of Quantum Break.

He further added, "Microsoft owns the Quantum Break IP, so its future is up to them. The most important thing for Remedy is that we make the game as awesome as possible, hopefully players like it and we'll see what the future brings."

Quantum Break is slated for release on April 5th, 2016. The said game is expected to release for the Xbox One, but surrounding rumors claim that the game will be made available to the PC as well. Keep posted for more updates on Quantum Break and Remedy Entertainment's possible expansions.
