Samsung is set to release new smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), Galaxy J7 (2016), and the Galaxy A9 Pro early this year. These devices are said to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Samsung has not yet finished unveiling its product lineup this year. As Christian Today said, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is set to be released soon but not at the end of the year, according to rumors.

Though there is no official word yet from Samsung, the Galaxy A9 Pro may be unveiled early since it has appeared on several websites. The phone was seen on TENAA website and also on Bluetooth SIG for the issuance of certification prior its intended release. The possible launch for the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro may be held this month or April, ahead of the Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7 (2016), said International Business Times.

Now, Samsung's mid-range phones are next in line for launch, particularly the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) and the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). The tentative launch date for the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) is set on June 17 this year, along with the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). These gadgets have also received their FCC certification and may soon receive Bluetooth SIG endorsement, signaling an imminent release.

As reported by Lawyer Herald, the Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7 (2016) are expected to run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system. However, this was refuted by a report from GFXBench saying that the J5 (2016) will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop instead. On the other hand, the J7 (2016) might really get Android Marshmallow based on leaks and a Geekbench report.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro may also run on Android Marshmallow operating system. All rumors and leaks on the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro say that the device will get the latest Android platform. Aside from the software, leaks on the Galaxy A9 Pro reveal that the phone will have a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor, 32 GB internal storage, and 4 GB of RAM.
