Apple's March event is forthcoming and the company's patrons are patiently waiting for the reveal of its newest products. One of the much-anticipated devices to have its first appearance during the said occasion is the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, also known as the iPad Air 3. This upcoming tablet is predicted to feature a better camera compared to its predecessor.
According to ChinaTopix, the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Pro, which were released in October 2014 and November last year, correspondingly, both arrived with 8 MP cameras. However, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is predicted to sport an impressive 12 MP camera which has already been featured on the iPhone 6S. It is also anticipated to sport a single LED flash.
Since the 9.7-inch iPad Pro that is also known as iPad Air 3 comes in a smaller size, it will be easier to grip while taking photos. In addition, it also makes sense that Apple will offer an enhanced camera on this tablet. The iPad Pro's 12 MP camera will be coupled with a 4K resolution support for video recording and a front camera for FaceTime and selfies. Apple is expected to release an optimized Smart Keyboard cover for the upcoming tablet.
Aside from the camera enhancement, International Business Times noted that the 9.7-inch iPad Pro will house advanced display technology to support Apple Pencil (stylus), Anti-glare feature, Smart Connector to dock keyboard and 4 speakers to provide enhanced audio experience. It is also expected to be engineered with Apple A9X SoC (System-on-Chip).
Additionally, MicroCap Magazine stated that the 9.7-inch iPad Pro 2 could include a 4K resolution display, that will bring the tablet in line with the recent 21.5-inch iMac release. It is also speculated that this device would be packed with a 4GB of RAM but it is not yet confirmed if the 3D Touch pressure-sensitive technology of the iPhone will be incorporated into this handset.
As for the upcoming iPad Pro's price, tech enthusiasts say that it is still early to predict the price of this unit, but it is largely anticipated for the upcoming Apple iPad Pro to retail at around $600. Moreover, Apple will probably retain the policy of charging extra amount of money for additional accessories, which means users will need to shell out more for the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard.
The 9.7-inch iPad Pro, also known as iPad Air 3 is expected to make its first appearance on March 21 along with other Apple products like the 4-inch iPhone, iPhone 5se.
