‘Spider-Man’ Reboot Update: Peter Parker's appearance in 'Captain America: Civil War'; Solo film to feature another superhero?

By

Marvel's friendly superhero, Spider-Man, is slated to be back in the big screen with another reboot and this time, in the form of Tom Holland. The film is not bound for another year but the character will be introduced on the latest Marvel studio film "Captain America: Civil War". Moreover, rumored details of the upcoming film have been revealed.

The Peter Parker saga that started on 2003 with Tobey Maguire leading and had a reboot under Andrew Garfield is getting a remake from Sony with "The Impossible" actor Tom Holland in the lead role. But prior to his solo film, the web-crawling superhero will be making his introduction in Civil War.

According to Master Herald, Spider-Man film is set for a 2017 release date but Marvel Studio will introduce the character earlier, specifically in this year's "Captain America III". This excites the fans as the new actor, Holland, will portray the 15-year old Peter Parker. More interestingly, a new costume will be used which will be produced with special effects, as confirmed by director Anthony Russo.

Meanwhile, What Culture discussed some of the possible roles that the superhero could do in the "Captain America: Civil War". The article detailed that though Spider-Man is neutral in comics, there are possible things that will be beneficial to Spider-Man in his appearance in "Civil War".

One thing they've speculated is his suit where Iron Man would tailor it for him. In the comics, Tony Stark recruited Spider-Man and built him an impressive Spider-Armour to boot. Another exciting speculation is that Spider-Man was the kid that the audience have seen in Iron Man 2. Guessing that the kid was in his 9 - 10 years of age, it should just be right when the 15-year old Spider-Man will be released in 2017.

One more thing is that the character will befriend a superhero in Captain America: Civil War. Movie Pilot thinks that this superhero would be the recently added, Ant-Man. Other than being bug-themed heroes, they are also both considered outsiders. That could be the foundation of their friendship and many are hoping that they'll be included in the solo film due next year. Nonetheless, these are mere speculations and fans should just wait until the premiere of "Captain America: Civil War."

"Spider-Man" is the upcoming superhero film reboot by Marvel studios with Tom Holland as the titular character. The film is said to have the title of 'Spectacular Spider-Man' to differentiate it from the Maguire's Spider-Man and Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man. The yet to be titled "Spider-Man" film is bound to hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
