According to TV Series Finale, the network has renewed the dramedy series for season 7 even before season 6 aired. Unfortunately, the household ratings of the first three episodes of season 6 has been impressive. Its 1st episode only received a 0.63 rating in the 18-49 demographic and.has garnered a poor number of 1.4 million viewers.
As for the official synopsis of episode 7, Hollywood Hills notes, "Carl Gallagher (Ethan Cutkosky) is going to struggle with Nick Gehlfuss' (Robbie Pratt) absence and will remake the Gallagher home into his crib. He will also invite his friends over to party and make music. Frank Pacheco (Tony Milkovich) and Queen (Sherilyn Fenn) will end up ruling the house, and Debbie Gallagher (Emma Kenney) is going to return when she is let go by Erika (Ever Carradine) and Tyler (Michael McMillian)."
