"House of Cards" actor Nathan Darrow will be making a cameo appearance in "Gotham" Season 2B as the legendary DC Comics villain Mr. Freeze. James Frain returns on set to play a new different character Azrael. Also, FOX finally released the official plot description for episode 12 'Rise of the Villains: Mr. Freeze".
"House of Cards" alum Nathan Darrow officially signs in to guest star in the upcoming episode of "Gotham" Season 2B. According to Den of Geek, the 39-year-old American actor will be playing the role of the legendary DC Comics villain, Victor Fries aka Mr. Freeze. Darrow's character will debut as a villain in live-action form. Mr. Freeze was first introduced in the 1st installment of its motion comic version, "Gotham Stories".
In addition, James Frain who played the character of Theo Galavan and was killed in the fall finale officially returns. Daily Mail UK has cited that the 47-year-old English stage and screen actor will come back on set as a whole new different character, Azrael. The actor was spotted on the show's Brooklyn set and a number of photos from the production is currently circulating on Instagram.
As for the official synopsis of episode 12 TV Guide notes, "Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) aka The Penguin doesn't let Detective Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) get off easily when he takes a hit for Theo Galavan's (James Frain) murder;and Gordon and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) investigate a body-snatching spree."
"Gotham" Season 2B winter premiere (episode 12) is entitled as "Rise of the Villains: Mr. Freeze". The upcoming episode is slated to premiere on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. exclusively on FOX Network.
