Samsung is anticipated to launch another unit for its Galaxy Note line-up which is the Note 6. This handset is set to arrive in Europe during its launch featuring a whole new design and a much improved set of specs.
It was only this year that the tech company officially released the handset in Europe. According to Softpedia, the reasons are unknown but Samsung has decided that the Galaxy Note 5 would only be accessible in North America and some Asian countries after its debut. Meanwhile the other countries around the world have the Galaxy S6 edge+ instead.
Unlike the previous launch, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is believed to be released globally as a lot of consumers are unhappy with the move the company has done last year. This piece of information has been confirmed by a source that's knowledgeable of Samsung's launch plans for 2016.
The source stated that Samsung isn't going to release the S7 Edge+ in the UK. He also added that Samsung Electronics had been a bit disappointed sales-wise and that the move to keep the Note 5 out of Europe is now considered a wrong decision. With this, it is predicted that the Galaxy Note 6 will launch in the UK in August and that there will be no S7 Edge+.
Furthermore, ValueWalk reported that a concept image of Samsung Galaxy Note 6 has surfaced and it takes a whole new design. Based on the photo, the Note 6 has resemblance to a Sony Xperia than Samsung Galaxy Note phablet. Designers also envisioned that the upcoming member of the Note family will be armed with an impressive 30-megapixel main camera and 16-megapixel front snapper. This is somewhat surprising since Samsung is reducing the megapixel in the Galaxy S7 to focus more on sensors and software for more enhanced image quality.
The Galaxy Note 6 rendering also boasts an 8GB RAM which seems to be accurate. It is expected to be as powerful as PC, offering a powerful gaming experience. With the, 8GB RAM the device would be able to deliver decent performance in terms of gaming experience and multi-tasking.
An improved S Pen stylus and a higher 256GB of built-in storage are also expected. Samsung will reportedly integrate a pressure-sensitive display technology in Galaxy Note 6 that is similar to the 3D Touch in Apple's iPhone 6S. The South Korean smartphone maker has teamed up with Synaptics to use the latter's ClearForce pressure-sensitive display technology in its upcoming devices.
The newest member of the Note family is also rumored to feature a 16-core Exynos processor, 4K Display and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Concept Phones considered that there is 80% chance the 4K display will appear in Note 6.
Gospel Herald added that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 could have a bigger battery. The Note 5 is notably armed with a 3,000 mAh, and an upgrade to 4,000 mAh would be just the improvement that the users want. Other enhancement could be an iris scanner and a microSD slot that would let the users expand the memory of the Note 6.
Although it is not yet confirmed by Samsung, the Galaxy Note 6 is expected to be announced during a dedicated event this summer and it is hoped to go on sale as early as August.
