Following the recent launching of Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Awakening DLC on the PlayStation 4, game developer Treyarch has rolled out a new hotfix adding an Awakening playlist to the game's Multiplayer mode. Also, a double weapon XP event is going live from Feb.5 to 8 while a new patch is released for the game's PS3 version.
As reported by CharlieIntel, this hotfix for Call of Duty Black Ops 3 adds a playlist for Awakening DLC maps found in the Bonus category for a limited time only as it won't be made as permanent inclusion. Such Awakening DLC maps are now in all playlists in Public Matchmaking.
Also, David Vonderhaar confirmed on Twitter that a fix to an exploit on the new Splash map would be coming.
"We are coming after Splash exploits and the Hit Indicator issues first. Like 10AM tomorrow morning first."
