Following the official reveal of Mortal Kombat XL Pack last week, NetherRealm Studios has provided details on the various editions of its content that gamers can avail for purchase including the Kombat Pack 2 come March1st.
As reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, Mortal Kombat X developer NetherRealm Studios has published via Warner Bros Forums the full details on the XL Pack content ahead of its March 1 launching across North America and March 4 in Europ for PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The said XL Pack will contain both the previously released Kombat Pack 1 and the upcoming Kombat Pack 2 plus the main game for a price of $59.99 through retail and digital stores.
For fans who already have the main game but haven't owned the first Kombat Pack will need to shell out $24.99 for the following content:

- All Downloadable Characters - Alien, Predator, Jason, Leatherface, Triborn, Bo' Rai Cho, Tremor, Goro, and Tanya
- Legacy Costumes - Predator/Prey Pack, Horror Pack, Samurai Pack, Kold War Scorpion, Brazil Pack, Klassic Pack 1, Klassic Pack 2, Kold War Skin Pack

The Kombat Pack 1 price is set at $.9.99 but for gamers who already own one, Kombat Pack 2 will cost $19.99 and will include new characters Alien, Leatherface, Triborg, Bo' Rai Cho, Goro together with Kold War Scorpion, Brazil Skin Pack, Kold War Skin Pack, and the all new Apocalypse Pack.
The developer has not yet announced any of the release dates for four new playable characters coming in Kombat Pack 2.
Via his official Twitter account, Ed Boon wrote, "The Pit (with background fatality) comes FREE as the compatibility download when we all transition to MKXL."
Meanwhile, Tri-Borg who is one the four kombatants to join the roster via Kombat Pak 2 has a fourth variation apart from being a combination of Cyrax, Sektor and Cyber Smoke.
Latino Post wrote that at the ESL finals, NetherRealm Studios team showcased the Sub-Zero variation of Tri-Borg. He is seen in the video to have abilities to fire ice balls from his hands and freeze enemies similar to Sub-Zero. [Watch video]
Released last April for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, Mortal Kombat X is the tenth installment in the fighting video game series developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
