'High-Rise' is an upcoming thriller film starring Tom Hiddleston in the lead role. The actor stripped down to pose nude on the film's newest promotional photographs. The second official trailer released was a departure from the pleasant first trailer and showed scenes of blood and violence.

According to Collider, Hiddleston goes nude in one scene from the upcoming dark comedy-thriller film. The newest promotional images featured the Hollywood heart throb with nothing but a magazine as he sunbathes on a lounge chair. Other photographs showed other members of the stellar cast including Sienna Miller, Jeremy Irons, Luke Evans and Elizabeth Moss.

The film is based on the science-fiction novel of the same name by author J.G. Ballard, according to Indie Wire. It is set in the year 1975 and follows the life of one young doctor, Robert Laing, who moves into a contemporary new residential tower designed by the architect Anthony Royal. Unbeknownst to him, his life spirals out of control as residents of the luxurious tower block provoke class injustices and break off into segregated "tribes".

Hiddleston is set to portray Robert, one of the building's residents who harbor the tower block's twisted dark secret: to relegate lower-class residents to the lower floors. Robert befriends Evans' Richard Wilder, a charismatic documentary filmmaker who seeks to provoke social upheaval and reveal the building's complex loyalties.

The second 75-minute trailer featured bits of the tower war showing scenes of violence and lots of blood - quite the departure from the first official teaser released. According to Variety, the film will open in the United Kingdom on March 8. Although no confirmed release date has been set for the Unites States premiere, IMDB.com stated that it will open in the U.S. on April 28, 2016.

'High-Rise' is an upcoming satire and thriller film directed by Ben Wheatley based on a screenplay by Amy Jump. It is based on the science fiction novel by J.G. Ballard. Jememy Thomas produced the film while Lizzie Francke, Sam Lavender, Peter Watson, Thorsten Schumacher, Lizzie Francke, Sam Lavender, Anna Higgs, Gabriella Martinelli, Christopher Simon and Genevieve Lemal served as executive producers.
