PC gamers are still impatiently waiting for the official news on WWE 2K16 PC Version release date, however, it could come sooner than fans expect. A reported leak that has surfaced online revealed that the launch will be happening in March. Meanwhile, the game's next DLC called Future Stars Pack will arrive next week with 5 new playable characters.
According to Korea Portal, this exciting development on the release of WWE 2K16 PC version is courtesy of a German-based website, Game Laden, stating that the game's launching on Steam is purportedly set on March 31, 2016.
Game Laden went on further to add that the game will be made available to PC players via a Steam download at launch. "We only sell the full version of the game 'WWE 2K16 (PC)' (STEAM digital download)! The software is delivered by e-mail," the post reads.
At the time of this writing, 2K Sports has not made an official announcement on PC release since the initial launch of the Wrestling professional video game on PlayStation and Xbox consoles just yet. Hence, this tidbit of leaked info must be taken with a grain of salt. .
On the other hand, 2k has already confirmed via its official website that Future Stars Pack will be downloadable starting January 26 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms.
In this latest DLC, NXT superstar Samoa Joe and two tag teams namely, Los Matadores (Diego & Fernando) and Blake and Murphy will be added as playable characters to the game.
Fans are advised to watch the @WWEgames Twitter feed and Facebook page as the release date approaches so as to get a sneak preview of all 5 new playable characters in action, WrestleZone wrote.
When purchased separately, Future Stars Pack costs $7.99, although, this DLC forms part of the WWE 2K16 Season Pass priced at $24.99 offering 20% savings to gamers. The other packs are:
