After the release of 2010 film, Toy Story 3, many fans of the franchise thought that animated film series would conclude there. However, with confirmation from the studio, the fourth is now in the making and writer Rashida Jones detailed her thoughts about the film in the report of Refinery 29. According to them, Jones is working with Will McCormack to finalize the script and was asked on the progress of the film. In a short notice she stated that she can't talk about the film but rather talked about the role of Bo Peep's character. Jones elaborated that she's hoping Bo Peep would create balance in the "ridiculously" male centered industry of media which should be a representative of real life.
In light to others, Bo Peep is a character which would be introduced again in Toy Story 4 that could affect the plot. According to Christian Post, the plot of the upcoming film would center on Pixar's attempt to rekindle the love of Woody and Bo Peep as indicated by rumors. It should be noted that Bo Peep was in the Toy Story 1 and 2 while missing in the third which is where the story will be built.
Furthermore to these news, reports credited the director and writers of the anticipated animated film. Written by Movie News Guide, they indicated that fans can expect from John Lasseter to handle the project. Lasseter is considered by the production to be the heart and soul Pixar which is a big entitlement.
