Persona 5 is supposedly released in 2015 but the game's debut date was pushed back. The game is scheduled once again to be hitting the shelves this year. To excite the fans, its game developer revealed a few details about the characters in the upcoming roleplaying game.
According to Techno Buffalo, Atlus has a line-up of titles for 2016 as the developer is eyeing for a lucky break this year. Atlus CEO Naoto Hiraoka has announced their plans of releasing a large number of titles including Persona 5.
"In the summer, we'll launch the long-awaited Persona 5. Of course, in addition to that we have several unannounced titles. I have no doubt this will be a year Atlus' popular series all gather together," Hiraoka said as quoted by Techno Buffalo.
Persona fans will experience the new Japanese role-playing game fifth installment this year, as confirmed by Ecumenical News. However, reports keep running that the release date could go through another delay.
Game director Katsura Hashino described Persona 5 as diverse from the previous Persona. The characters are controlled by issues of the modern-day society thus becoming phantom thieves to change the order. The heroes of the game will discover demonic creatures and struggle to outwit them, the site added.
Cross Map held the game is about Phantom with his high school friends interrelating with the supernatural sphere. Along with Phantom are Ryuuji Sakamoto, Anzu Takamaki and Morgana. Persona 5 fuses the issues of juvenile school, romance and supernatural.
The site has Hashino continue saying "This time, it's about a group of high school students that are being 'chased' by unexpected occurrences due to the justice they believe in. We're writing [the story] to convey a thrilling everyday life in the shoes of these characters, that are as large as life, in this juvenile school setting."
Atlus scheduled the release of Persona 5 in Japan and United States in 2016 for the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.
