‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ Update: DLC Details, Free Skin Revealed

Batman publisher announced the release date and details of the upcoming content update for Arkham Knight. Also, a new Batman skin is available for free with the game's update.

The set of downloadable content, formerly called Community Challenge Pack, now Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #6 will be release on January 19 for PC users and January 26 for Playstation 4 and Xbox One owners as shared by International Business Times.

According to IBN, the DLC also includes a new free skin from Grant Morrison's Batman Incorporated. The skin was previously offered as downloadable code exclusively for players who bought the graphic novel. Fans are hinting if Rocksteady Studios might bring back costumes that were earlier available and exclusive to promos. Particularly, the ones mentioned in the forums are the Earth 2 Batman skin, Justice League 3000 skin and Batman 66 skin.

WCCF confirmed that the Batman: Arkham Knight Batman Incorporated skin is free for this month's update. Aside from the new skin, Warner Bros. also revealed that the Batman: Arkham Knight Community Challenge pack has been given new name as Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #6. Although the name has been changed, the content remains the same as it include six challenge maps gotten from Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City and a special endless Predator Mode challenge.

Playstation Lifestyle listed the maps players can expect from the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #6:

Predator

  • Wayne Manor Main Hall (Batman: Arkham City)
  • Batcave (Batman: Arkham City)
  • Sanatorium, Medical Facility (Batman: Arkham Asylum)

Combat

  • Iceberg Lounge (Batman: Arkham City)
  • Crime Alley (Batman: Arkham Knight)
  • Monarch Theatre (Batman: Arkham City)

The site quoted Community Manager Coda talked about the DLC: "We can't wait for you guys to get your hands on the remastered maps."

Batman: Arkham Knight is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
