The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is reported to be rolling out on LG G4, G3, G4 Stylo, G Flex 2 and LG V10 under major carriers in US. Meanwhile, the Android 6.0.1 is expected to be on its way to reach LG handsets soon.

LG Electronics has been really working hard to bring the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its devices. Finally, the software upgrade is expected to roll out to subscribers under AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, and T-Mobile carriers.

According to Gospel Herald, the Marshmallow update for LG G4 is rolling out quickly as there are several regions and even US carriers offering it already. The said update has already arrived on Sprint and US Cellular in the United States, and now Canada along with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile could be the next target.

Many are asking now when the upgradewill come to the LG G3. Although it doesn't look like US Cellular and Sprint have the software update now, everyone is confident that it will be arriving soon. On the other hand, the Canadian carrier TELUS has the Marshmallow roll out for G4 marked on February 1st, and G3 on March 14th, indicating that the Marshmallow release really is going strong.

Furthermore, Android Origin added that LG has pushed out the Marshmallow firmware for the V10. The company has reportedly released the upgrade to a couple of other smartphones in early 2015. On the other hand, the LG G Flex 2 is still waiting for its first Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Though, it is already confirmed that this handset will be receiving it.

One more device that was unveiled in 2015 which is also confirmed to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is the LG G Stylo. As this smartphone is a midrange one, tech enthusiasts are surprised to see it scheduled for a Marshmallow upgrade. Nevertheless, the exact schedule of roll out is not yet disclosed just like the G Flex 2.

When it comes to the Android 6.0.1 firmware, International Business Times reported that LG devices may also obtain this update soon as LG Nexus 5 and LG Nexus 5X have already received it. The South Korean company has confirmed it is releasing the new firmware update to LG G3, LG G4, LG G Stylo, LG G Flex2, LG V10 and a few selected tablet devices.

Unfortunately, the 2-year-old LG G2 is likely to be excluded in the list of devices that are eligible for the Android 6.0 update. Meanwhile, owners of the eligible ones are encouraged to check their Settings on their Android phone regularly just in case the over-the-air (OTA) update is already available.
