AMC officially orders "Better Call Saul" for season 2 with "St. Elsewhere" star Ed Begley to guest star as Clifford. Also, lead actor Bob Odendirk reveals what's in store for Jimmy McGill in the upcoming installment of the popular tv series.

AMC already ordered a "Better Call Saul' for a 2nd installment even before its season 1 premiere has even aired. Network president Charlie Collier also announced that they committed a total of 23 episodes for the show, as reported by Inquisitr.

Having said that, "St. Elsewhere" alum Ed Begley officially signs up as a guest star for "Better Call Saul" Season 2. According to Entertainment Weekly, the six-time Emmy nominee and veteran actor will be making a multiple cameo appearance as Clifford. Begley's character will debut in the February 15 premiere episode of the new season.

Moreover, lead actor Bob Odendirk discussed with Den of Geek what's in store for his character Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman in "Better Call Saul" Season 2.

Odendirk stated, "He is not all of a sudden completely transformed. I think one of the things Vince showed us with Breaking Bad is that people can change, they just change incredibly slowly and they struggle and sweat through those changes. They really need to be ground down and pressurized in order to change in a fundamental way.

In the case of Breaking Bad, Walter White didn't really change, he just became more of he was in his inner core. He began to express himself more in the real world. But I think in the case of Jimmy McGill, he is transforming. But it's happening in a realistic and, I must say, somewhat painful way."

"Better Call Saul" Season 2 is slated to premiere on February 15, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. exclusively on AMC and will be released in the UK the day after.

"Better Call Saul" is an American TV drama series created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. The series serves as a prequel/spin-off of "Breaking Bad".
