'Supergirl' Season 1 News: Crossover episode with 'Arrow', 'The Flash' confirmed in March

EP Greg Berlanti has confirmed that a crossover episode "Arrow" and "The Flash" will take place in "Supergirl" Season 1 next month. CBS also recently released the official trailer for the next episode of the series while the official synopsis for episode 10 has been released.

Executive producer Greg Berlanti has revealed to Entertainment Weekly that there will be a multi-network crossover episode in "Supergirl" Season 1. The DC Comics-based series will be having a crossover with "Arrow" and "The Flash" from the CBS and CW Network. The said event might be released next month.

Other than that, CBS finally released the official spoiler clip for next week's episode. As posted on Flickering Myth, the video features the classic Superman villain Toyman (Henry Czerny) arrival at the National City. Toyman will serve as a very dangerous enemy to Supergirl. Then Winslow Schott's (Jeremy Jordan) backstory will be tackled and this promises to be a positive change of pace.

As for the official plot of the upcoming episode 10, We Got This Covered notes, "Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) does her best to support Winn Schott when his father, the supervillain Toyman, breaks out of prison and seeks out his son for unknown reasons. Also, Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) offers Lucy Lane (Jenna Dewan Tatum) a job at CatCo and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) asks Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) to use his powers to help uncover Maxwell Lord's (Peter Facinelli) plans."

"Supergirl" Season 1 Episode 10 is entitled as "Childish Things". The forthcoming episode is slated to premiere on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. exclusively on CBS.

"Supergirl" is an American superhero fiction action-adventure drama TV series developed by Ali Adler, Greg Berlanti, and Andrew Kreisberg. The series is based on the DC Comics character Supergirl (Kara Zor-El) which is created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino.
