'Game of Thrones' Spoilers: Sean Bean to return as Ned Stark? Director teases a big and expansive Season 6

Actor Sean Bean has been rumored to resurrect his character as Ned Stark in "Games of Thrones" Season 6. Tamer Hassan, Joe Naufahu, and Eli Haddad serve as new cast additions. Elsewhere, series director Jeremy Podeswa revealed some plot details for the upcoming installment.

Rumor has it that Sean Bean will reappear in the upcoming season 6 of "Game of Thrones" to resurrect his role. Bean portrayed the character of Ned Stark who is already dead in the series, as cited by Christian Post. The rumor started when fans held on to the hope that his character will appear in the series even in just a form of a flashback.

On the other hand, Tamer Hassan, Joe Naufahu, and Eli Haddad are officially added to the cast of "Game of Thrones" Season 6. According to IB Times, the three actors will be playing as members of Dothraki.

Series director Jeremy Podeswa also teased the fans, as reported by Yahoo! TV, on what to expect in "Game of Thrones" Season 6.

Podeswa stated, "The storylines are propulsive and moving forward. This season, we did something we've never done before: We did cast read-throughs before we started shooting, but we didn't read the scripts chronologically. Instead, each actor read their characters' storylines from all 10 episodes.

So one day we met and did all of Arya's scenes, and the next we did all of Cersei's scenes. That gave us a sense of the arc of the entire season in a really interesting way. You could almost pull out any one character's story and you'd have a great show, but we've got ten of them."

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is slated to return on Sunday, April 24, 2016 exclusively on HBO. "Game of Thrones" is an American fantasy drama TV series created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. The storyline is based on George R.R. Martin's fantasy novel series entitled as "A Song of Ice and Fire".
