'Baby Daddy' Season 5 premieres Feb. 3; New installment to focus on Danny and Riley's relationship

Daniella Monet officially joins the cast of "Baby Daddy" Season 5. The 26-year-old American actress will be replacing Allie Gonnino's character as Sam. Monet is set to appear in the new season's first episode, IB Times reports.

Meanwhile, series creator Dan Berendsen dishes the latest scoop with Yibada on what fans should expect in "Baby Daddy" Season 5. Berendsen revealed that the upcoming season will focus more on Danny Wheeler (Derek Theler) and Riley Perrin's (Chelsea Kane) relationship. Then some of the episodes will focus on the mature side of Ben Wheeler (Jean-Luc Bilodeau) as he starts to set some life plans for himself.

As per the official plot for its episode premiere Broadway World notes that "Riley faints after Danny asks her to marry him; and when she wakes up, she has no memory of his proposal. Trying to move on from Riley, Ben decides to find his Riley and immediately hits it off with new neighbor Zoey (guest star Jonna Walsh).

However, Ben is shocked when their first date reveals he and Zoey have more in common than he thought. Bonnie is determined to finally marry Brad after many aborted attempts, and believing Ben and Danny are to blame, enlists Tucker to help her tie the knot without her son's knowledge."

"Baby Daddy" Season 5 Episode 1 is entitled as "Love and Carriage". The forthcoming episode is slated to premiere on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 8:30 p.m. exclusively on ABC Family.

"Baby Daddy" is a Freeform original comedy TV series created by Dan Berendsen. The storyline evolves around Ben, a 20-year-old lad who gets a surprise when a one-night stand leaves his baby at his doorstep.
