'X-Men: Apocalypse' Updates: Producer Simon Kinberg answers fans' questions; Teases biggest, most emotional X-Men ever made

Simon Kinberg, writer and producer of X-Men Apocalypse announced that the newest X-Men will be the biggest they have ever done. Kinberg also said that X-Men Apocalypse will be the most emotional X-Men yet.

20th Century Fox posted a video showing Simon Kinberg answering questions from the fans. The producer said that it's the biggest X-Men film they have made and Apocalypse will blow everyone's expectation. He said the X-Men Apocalypse will have an extinction-level threat to the world and that it will add more weight in terms of emotions in the film. The storyline of X-Men Apocalypse will be heightened and that the dynamic between the main characters will be very intense.

Simon Kinberg also said that Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaac will be the most powerful villain the X-Men fought so far in the franchise, as reported by Screen Rant. Apocalypse was said to be the first powerful mutant in the X-Men universe. His powers made him immortal and invincible. The storyline suggests that after thousands of year, Apocalypse had an awakening. He then assembled a team of powerful humans including a disheartened Magneto to wipe mankind and create a new world order, over which he will be king.

According to Coming Soon, the fate of mankind hangs in the balance and so Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) went back to the academy of Professor X (James McAvoy). Together they assembled a team of young X-Men to fight their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete extinction.

X-Men Apocalypse stars, Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), Ben Hardy (Angel), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), Lana Condor(Jubilee), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Lucas Till (Havok) and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier.

The production team X-Men: Apocalypse assured fans that they will not be disappointed by the newest film and that they will express a new massive treat that is in the character of Apocalypse. X-Men: Apocalypse will be released this coming May 27, 2016.
