Colman Domingo is now a series regular for "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2 and showrunner Dave Erickson has revealed what fans can expect to happen next in the new installment. Series creator Robert Kirkman also teased that the upcoming storyline will feature the water survivors of season 1.
Colman Domingo has been officially promoted as a series regular for "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2, as reported by Cross Map. The 46-year-old American actor plays the character of Victor Strand.
On the other hand, showrunner Dave Erickson discussed with The Hollywood Reporter some exciting plot details for "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2.
Erickson stated, "We end on one boat and the ocean beyond -- and this will be a part of what the military is doing -- you'll see that land is no longer safe. At least not in Southern California. But there's thousands of boats through L.A. County. So a lot of people will stock up the boats and try to get to the water and avoid land as much as humanly possible.
You'll see a lot of people trying to survive. If you look at Strand's yacht, it's a pretty handsome vessel. It's something that you can survive on for a good period of time, and that's something others might covet. There will be quite a bit of action on the seas -- and we'll split it between land and water."
In addition, comic creator and show producer Robert Kirkman teased that "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2 will feature the survivors on water on season 1. Kirkman revealed that fans should expect some major zombie-water action to take place in the first part of the upcoming installment, as reporte by Latin Post.
"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2 is slated to premiere on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. exclusively on AMC. 'Fear the Walking Dead" is an American horror drama TV series created by Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson.
