Damon Gupton officially joins the cast for "Bates Motel" Season 4 to play a new character. According to Christian Post, Gupton will portray the character of Dr. Gregg Edwards who will be Norma Bates' love interest.

On the other hand, Ryan Hurst officially reprises his role in the 4th installment of "Bates Motel". Hurst portrays the character of Chick, a druglord and gun dealer who caused some serious trouble to Dylan Massett (Max Thieriot) and Caleb Calhoun (Kenny Johnson), Vine Report has noted,

Lead actor Freddie Highmore (as Norman Bates) has also discussed with Entertainment Weekly on what fans should expect in "Bates Motel" Season 4.

Highmore stated, "I think it's the beginning of the end. I've always seen season 3 as the real turning point, by the end of it, Norman is much closer to the Norman Bates of "Psycho" than to the Norman we set up at the beginning of "Bates Motel". I think this episode is potentially pivotal in showing us how Norman will start to live much more in fiction as opposed to reality.

Whether that's good or bad... I mean, he's quite happy to wander around the kitchen and pop blackberries into his mouth. But he's very much living in his fantasy world, and similarly in the basement where he imagines his taxidermy coming to life. More than anything, it's the start of that fantasy for Norman."

"Bates Motel" Season 4 is slated to be back on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. exclusively on A&E. "Bates Motel" is an American drama-thriller TV series developed by Carlton Cuse, Kerry Ehrin, and Anthony Cipriano. The storyline is based on the characters from "Psycho" by Robert Bloch.
