'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Spoilers: 'Drive' episode sees a returning character; Spin-off starring Gary Sinise premieres in March

Aisha Tyler's recurring character is still on the list of "Criminal Minds" Season 11. Tyler's character Dr. Tara Lewis is slated to appear in the 12th episode of the Jeff Davis-created series. In addition, the official synopsis for episode 12 has been released by CBS Network. Furthermore, the show will be having a spin-off this March entitled as "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders."

Aisha Tyler's character Dr. Tara Lewis is still officially a part of the recurring characters of "Criminal Minds" Season 11. Carter Matt has mentioned that the 45-year-old American actress' character might appear in episode 12 to join the BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) team in Boston.

As for the official synopsis of episode 12, Hollywood Hills notes, "The BAU looks for an unsub killing victims who are discovered in public places throughout Boston. When bodies are discovered in public places throughout Boston, the BAU is going to end up investigating whether a taxi or ride-share service the victims used before their deaths, could lead the team to the UnSub.

In addition to that, the show's upcoming spin-off entitled "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" is scheduled to launch on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 and will take the time slot after "Criminal MInds" Season 11.

The spin-off will star Gary Sinise (as Unit Chief Jack Garrett), Daniel Henney (as military and profiler hero Matt Simmons), Annie Funke (as medical examiner Mae Jarvis), Alana de la Garza (as cultural anthropologist Clara Seger) and Tyler James Williams (as tech analyst Russ "Monty" Montgomery), as reported on Spoiler TV.

"Criminal Minds" Season 11 Episode 12 is entitled as "Drive". The upcoming episode is scheduled to air on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. exclusively on CBS. "Criminal Minds" is an American police procedural TV series created by Jeff Davis and executively produced by The Mark Gordon Company. The storyline is set at the FBI's BAU in Quantico, Virginia.
