'Deadpool' 2 Rumors: Cable might appear in sequel; Deadpool and X-Men Crossover possible

By

The first part of 20th Century Fox's Deadpool has not even hit the theaters yet, but there are already speculations about Deadpool and X-Men crossover. There are also rumors that Cable will be joining Deadpool in Deadpool 2. Moreover, Fox might drop Fantastic Four to make way for Deadpool 2.

Fantastic Four was indeed a letdown and an utter disappointment not only Fox but also to the fans. For some, it was a waste of time. For Fox, it was a waste of money. The producer might have thought that fans would prefer Deadpool 2 than Fantastic Four. Most are happy with such news and so far there have been no protests of Fantastic Four 2's cancelation.

Expectations are rising every time the studio releases new tease about Deadpool. Just recently, the studio released a poster that resembles Nicholas Spark's romantic movies. No doubt about it, Fox is not only having fun while releasing hilarious Deadpool images and trailers, Fox is doing a wonderful job in terms of marketing Deadpool. The romantic poster appeared on Deadpool's official Twitter account.

As fans can observe, there aren't no memorable villains showing in Deadpool trailers yet. However, X-Men's character like Negasonic and Colossus appeared on the film's trailer a couple of times now. One can speculate that perhaps Deadpool might appear also in the X-Men Universe. It would be an awesome crossover if this would happen. Movie fanatics already saw how Marvel interweaves its own cinematic universe. Thus, it is wise for the studio to copy such move since X-Men universe is also as vast as that of the Avengers. Even Ridley Scott's Aliens are said to be making its own cinematic universe. In fact, even Quentin Tarantino films are also rumored to do crossovers.

If the rumors are true that Deadpool will be featured in the X - Men universe, then it's most likely that Fox will have its place in the record books when it comes to box-office hits. X-Men movies are proven to be highly marketable, and even though the Deadpool movie hasn't been released yet, its advertising and promotions are groundbreakingly effective.

Inquisitr reported that Cable will be featured in Deadpool 2. Cable can be bad sometimes and can be categorized as a villain, despite him and Deadpool being reluctant friends. Being Jean Grey's clone and son of Cyclops, Cable could also pave the way to connect X-Men and Deadpool.

What do you think of Deadpool and X-Men crossover? Can Fox beat Marvel's Avengers? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.
