Bandai Namco's critically acclaimed Dark Souls 3 is still about to make its way to the market, but the team behind it already feel that the avid collectors of the game will definitely enjoy what's in store. With such a heavy price bestowed upon the collector's items, is it worth spending money on, other than the game?
According to Gaming Bolt, the surfacing Dark Souls 3 still does not have a lot of details to go around, but as of the moment, one of the most exciting attributes that the title offers is the Dark Souls 3 Prestige Edition. However, it may be too late for fans to even attempt and avail of the said promotion, as it was confirmed of being sold out within just two hours of going on sale.
Delivered by Video Gamer, the said Dark Souls 3 Prestige Edition was officially made available to pre-order exclusively through Amazon last month. In the pack, there are two awesome figurines--a one-of-a-kind 40cm Lord of Cinder figurine and the other is a 25cm Red Knight figurine. There will also be an official soundtrack CD, 3 iron-on patches, a cloth game map and Dark Souls Trilogy hardcover artbook to top it all off.
We Got This Covered noted that sadly, all these inclusions are to be put at the very top of any Dark Souls fan's wish list, as they are fully sold out. To perhaps suffice for the said loss, gamers are left with the Collector's Edition otherwise known as the limited supply Apocalypse Edition. The Apocalypse Edition will only be made available for pre-ordering customers and will no longer be available after the game ships on April 12th of this year, and is rated at a handsome £99.99.
Dark Souls 3, as per the developer Bandai Namco, is said to be the last of the franchise, to give way for more projects that do not necessarily belong to the same context. Stay tuned for more on the upcoming action role-playing game by Bandai Namco and publisher FROM Software.
