The Last Guardian has kept fans on the suspicious side of gaming for quite some time, after having announced a number of years back. Finally, post to such an extensive wait, gamers are given at least a single ray of light for those who have tailed the game.
According to Warp Zoned, it was over seven years ago when gamers first laid eyes on the reveal of The Last Guardian. It was then when gamers did not have the slightest clue yet on what the title will be about and now that the many followers of the said news have stayed true to said game, Team Ico and Sony Computer Entertainment have finally divulged that The Last Guardian will indeed come to the market within 2016.
As reported by Movie Pilot, a recent announcement stated that The Last Guardian will certainly be made available to the PlayStation 4 along with a handful of other games that are to make it through the market. Some of these remarkable titles include Halo Wars 2, Cobalt, Quantum Break, Fable Legends Open Beta, Crackdown 3, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition, Sea of Thieves, Gigantic and the highly acclaimed Gears of War 4.
Because of the hype surrounding these games, it was also expected that The Last Guardian may be a candidate that will participate in this year's E3 event, though, no official word has been given yet by the developers.
Delivered by Silicon Era, The Last Guardian's Director Fumito Ueda gave out word that more will be heard of The Last Guardian. Simply put, the director believes that 2016 may hold itself forward as a good year for The Last Guardian as they plan the game thoroughly and was quoted, "I believe that more information on The Last Guardian will be revealed as we head into its release. Again, I also plan to advance in the preparations for what's next."
The entire team behind The Last Guardian ensure that the wait for the title which was unraveled since 2009 is definitely worth it. Given such, fans are on the right track for more, and will continue to do so for the remainder of the months until a certain release date is disclosed.
