DOOM New Screenshots Released by Bethesda; Familiar Faces from Past Titles Seen

Bethesda and ID Software's DOOM has been staying on point in the past since it was officially announced of being in development. For the meantime, the title is all but done and will continue to remain a mystery to many, but new screenshots that have gone all over the web lets gamers prepare on what sort of nightmares will be unfolded for the series.

According to Blastr, the DOOM title has been long in the works-many years since the last installment came forth. That being said, gamers have their fingers crossed that the particular title will be worth waiting for. Now, fans of the series are cordially treated to what they are supposed to be given with what Bethesda and ID Software have planned for them.

As delivered by Techno Buffalo, DOOM and the development team have released some screenshots that highlight the opposition of the upcoming expansion. Many who have seen these photos state that the entities featured induce quite frightening and nightmarish beings in which the entirety of the Doom franchise has become widely popular for. Interestingly, some of the enemies were recognizable from the past DOOM titles, such as the sightless Hell Knights.

Bloody Disgusting reported that DOOM has planned for such a long time, and was even originally dubbed as Doom 4. After being officially declared a reboot and not a continuity, Bethesda and ID Software ensured the avid fans of the franchise that the wait for the 2016 launch will be quite worth it.

Though some skeptical audiences believe that DOOM will be monotonous to the masses, the team behind the reboot declares that there are a few other things to be excited over, such as the ability to morph into a Revenant during certain conditions.

As simple as it may sound, Bethesda's up and coming title DOOM guarantees that the challenges will be a bit more difficult, while keeping the elements that the game has been famous for.
