The Incredibles is surely one of Disney's best animated film, as it turned out as a box-office hit since it was released. It's been more than a decade now since anyone has seen the 'super family' take on some bad guys. This year, Disney's Pixar announced that the super-charged-incredibly-powerful family will have a sequel.
According to reports, the plot of The Incredibles 2 is 75 percent done and fans all over the world can't wait to see what's in store for this family of superheroes. Disney's CEO Robert Iger announced that The Incredibles 2 is officially set. Brad Bird is said to be the one who will write the screenplay and the story. He was also the guy who directed the first film. However, there have been no reports yet as to who will direct The Incredibles 2 film.
Even though the sequel for The Incredibles is at least three and a half years away from now, rumors and speculations about the film is already out on the internet.
One of the famous rumor that is circulating on the web is about the youngest and at the same time the cutest member of the Parr family - Jack-Jack. Fans surely remembered how Jack-Jack unleashed his powers to defeat Syndrome (Jason Lee) toward the last part of the first film. Rumors tells us that Jack-Jack will turn into a villain in the sequel, as he was known to unable to control his superpower. The setting will take place six years after The Incredibles.
Breathecast reported that Jack-Jack may even be stronger in The Incredibles 2, obtaining new and different powers such as floating, shooting lasers, teleporting, shapeshifting, becoming a small moster, being bulletproof steel, and turning into fire.
Aside from this there are also rumors that Syndrome will be coming back to reprise his role and will even become more 'evilier' as he will be the man behind influencing Jack-Jack to turn into the 'darkside', we mean, turn against his family. This has been reported by the Master Herald.
Meanwhile, there are also rumors that says both Bob (Craig Nelson) and Helen (Holly Hunter) will be hanging their capes as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl. Dash (Spencer Fox) and Violet (Sarah Vowell) will take the lead roles in saving mankind.
There is no sure way of confirming the credibility of all these speculations and rumors. However, what matters most is that The Incredibles 2 is officially set and will return on the big screen by June 21, 2019.
