‘Transformers 5’ Spoilers: New logo, new writers unveiled; Dual storylines, Mark Wahlberg’s return, Quintessons' appearance expected

Transformers 5 latest developments reveals new logo and a change in the writing team. Mark Wahlberg has also confirmed that he is returning for the fifth in the series.

The Transformers 5 logo was recently unveiled at Hasbro Investor Day via Comic Book report. The logo is not foreign to the fans; as half of the logo is a red stencil of Optimus Prime's face, and instead of having the other half as a Decepticon, it was symmetrically shaped as the number 5.

Jeff Pinkner and Akiva Goldsman were declared in July that they would be writing the script. However, recent reports claim that the latter isn't going to directly write the scripts. Instead, Goldsman will be the supervising the creative process for Transformers 5. He is also reportedly going to be supervising the designing team of Micronauts and writing teams for GI Joe.

According also to IGN, the first storyline will be centered on Cade Yeager's character on mortal lands, who is played by Mark Wahlberg. The second storyline will follow Optimus Prime's quest in search for his creators, the Quintessons.

Meanwhile Michael Bay, who is mainly known as the face who brought us The Transformers confirmed back in Oct. 31, 2014 that he would be producing Transformers 5 instead of directing it.

Stephen J. Davis, Hasbro's president, recently confirmed that four more sequels have been planned for Transformers 5 - and that it will span over a decade. He also revealed that most of the initial writing and conceptualizing for the film has been completed. He said, "You're going to see a new Transformers movie coming from Hasbro and Paramount and Michael Bay and our other partners." He also added that within a 3 month period of time, the studio got together nine of some of the most creative writers they have ever work with.

There has been no reports yet regarding other actors who will be reprising their roles. However, with all these amazing people involved and assembled, Transformers 5 will surely be more spectacular than its predecessors.
