'Baywatch' is an upcoming reboot of the television series of the same name centered on the lives of Los Angeles County Lifeguards. Kelly Brooke confirmed that she is under negotiations for a role in the new film and is speculated to play Pamela Anderson's part. Alexandra Daddario recalls her experience working with Dwayne Johnson and revealed what it was like meeting Zac Efron.
According to Metro, English model, actress and television presenter Kelly Brooke is in the running for a key role in the upcoming reboot of 'Baywatch'. The 36-year old beauty revealed that she was in negotiations for an unspecified part.
Speaking on Alan Carr New Year's Spectacular, she admitted that she had already read the script but was not aware which part was hers. She said, 'I'm a bit old to play Pamela Anderson's role so I don't know, but I know all the producers and it's funny and we'll see. I don't know." Anderson portrayed the iconic Baywatch lifeguard C.J. Carter from 1992-1997 and catapulted her to sex symbol fame.
Another article from Channel 24 wrote that host Alan Carr asked Brooke about her swimming abilities to which the latter answered, "Yeah I can [swim]. I end up in a bikini in most things I do." Brooke appeared on films such as 'Piranha 3D', 'Fishtales', 'Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo', 'Survival Island' and 'The Italian Job'.
Meanwhile, American actress Alexandria Daddario talked about working alongside co-stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Zac Efron. According to People, the 29-year old also starred in 2015's 'San Andreas' with Johnson and expressed her admiration for the actor.
She said, "For me, Dwayne is as close to a god as you get on earth... There is something so superhuman about him, even forgetting the fact that he's so incredibly good-looking and strong. He's just so kind and humble and generous and genuine." She added that he was an inspiring man whose work ethic makes every working environment great.
Daddario admitted that she only met Efron once but he left her with a lasting impression. She said, "Zac, I only met him once and thought he was the nicest guy... He was so nice and obviously incredibly handsome and seems down to earth. I look forward to getting to know him better."
'Baywatch' is an upcoming reboot of the popular television series of the same name. It will be directed by Seth Gordon and scheduled to be released sometime in 2017. It is currently in pre-production.
