‘Star Wars Episode 8’ Update: New Casts and Release Date Confirmed

The success of the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is not surprising at all since the people all over the world are talking about it before the release. After the phenomenal episode 7, episode 8 is on its way confirming its release date and updating its cast members.

According to Christian Today, the "Star Wars' producer Kathleen Kennedy stated that there will be new cast members in 'Episode 8' but also all the cast members you see here tonight will be in it as well. For those who watched the movie, we know that Han Solo was killed by his son, Ben solo also known as Kylo Ren, who went to the dark side. Harrison Ford, playing Han Solo was beside producer Kennedy when she stated those and fans thought she was hinting at he come back of Han Solo in the episode 8.

Independent stated that Ford is definitely confirmed for the next movie. The fans do not know whether he will live again or his scenes will be just flashbacks. Benicio Del Toro will be coming to episode 8 too as a villain. Viewers think Han could be Ren's father and will be back for flashbacks. Moreover, Disney posted on its casting call website that they are looking for a new female lead aging form 20-35 years of age and other supporting roles.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be followed by the first spinoff, "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". It will be on theaters December 16, 2016. Movieweb reported that "Star Wars: Episode VIII" is ready for release on May 26, 2017. Another spin-off, "Star Wars Anthology: Han Solo Movie" will be arriving on May 25, 2018. Lastly, "Star Wars: Episode IX" premiering sometime in 2019.

All this rumors and guessing will be put to silence after Disney and Lucas film confirmed things. Fans just have to wait and see what will be revealed next.
