LG G3, G4 Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Release Date

LG Electronics has been one of the smartphone manufacturers who have promised to deliver Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its handsets. Finally, the Korean tech company is expected to roll out the newest update by Google to its LG G4 and G3 handsets.

According to Android Origin, LG G3 is due to receive the latest version of the Android operating system. The flagship device has long been expected for an update and with the recent upgrade being rolled out to LG G4 devices throughout the US, South Korea and Europe, massive expectations are anticipated from its predecessor.

The South Korean company has made it clear that it wants to deliver a seamless experience to its patrons. This has apparently been done by being the first tech company to roll out the Android 6.0 update to its devices.

The update was noted to have started with the LG G4 in Poland where it came across some issues but quickly resumed. Now, speculations stated that LG G3 is next on the list. A lot of information has arisen as of late but it's still pretty vague in many ways.

LG reportedly has big plans and it's going to be interesting what device comes after the LG G3. Blorge claims that Sprint is now rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to LG G4.

The Android M upgrade will bring an updated Knock Code that has now become a lot more secure. The newest update also brings App Permissions which will allow the users to easily modify permission requests of apps on an individual level. A new Silent Mode on the sound profile will also be observed upon the update.

In addition to these, the new Android 6.0 update will also bring Interruptions or simply the "Do not disturb" option. It will Allow Peeking where the users can see notifications right on top of the display screen as well as QMemo+, which has just been renamed to Capture+.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow also brings the Doze feature, an in-built Android battery saving tool that will decrease the power draw when in standby mode; and the Now on Tap that makes access to information much easier, among many others. Exclusively, Sprint will also add a feature to the device known as Sprint Global Roaming to the new OS.

Aside from LG G4 and G3, Gospel Herald cited other devices that are scheduled to receive the Android M update. The LG G Flex 2, the LG G4c and other recent LG phones including the LG G2 will reportedly be receiving the Marshmallow 6.0.

Frequently, Sprint usually releases its updates in stages so in case users don't see the latest update available on their LG G4, they don't have to worry. It will be arriving to their devices in a couple of days.
