'Scream Queens' Season 2 Spoilers: Lea Michele To Return As The Killer? New Location, Old Characters' Return

By

After an insane ending in season one, viewers will find the old characters coming back for a new storyline in Scream Queens season 2. Lea Michele is set to reprise her role as Hester while the season one survivors will return in the second installment. Meanwhile, the show will be set in a new location.

Creator Ryan Murphy revealed in Fan Fright Fest in New York City that he has already pitched a new story idea for the second installment to FOX executives and according to him, they are excited about it, according to Design and Trend.

"Everybody loves the idea of it, and the conceit is three or four of the cast member survive, and in second season, the survivors go off to a new venue -- a horror based venue -- and then they have to fight a new killer, a new villain, a new threat," Murphy said.

Although Murphy has not been public about the storyline, there have been speculations of a summer camp theme for the next season, according to Hollywood Life. Cast members Oliver Hudson and Keke Palmer revealed that the summer camp theme will be an exciting one for Murphy to think about. With Palmer, in particular, the theme reminds her of Friday the 13th and the other horror movies she grew up watching.

Meanwhile, Lea Michele has confirmed that she will reprise her role as Hester, the killer who got away in season one. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Michele revealed that she and Murphy has been in talks on what her role as Hester would be in the next season.

Other than Michele, other cast members that are likely to return are Skylar Samuels as Grace, Keke Palmer as Zayday, Jamie Lee Curtis as Munch, Emma Roberts as Chanel Oberlin, Billie Lourd as Chanel # 3 and Abigail Breslin as Chanel # 5, who is currently working as cast in the remake of Dirty Dancing.

No official date has been released yet on the Scream Queen season 2 premiere.
