Huawei is expected to release another flagship phone next year rumored to be the Huawei P9. The Chinese company's new handset is rumored to be released in three different variants, and high end features.

Despite the release of the Mate 8, Huawei seem to be far from slowing down as they are heavily speculated to release another handset sometime next year and several details have already surfaced on the possible features of the new handset. According to Phone Arena, Huawei P9 is rumored to flaunt its 5.2-inch AMOLED display which could have Quad HD screen. It could be released with octa-core Kirin 950 processor.

It could also house 4GB RAm, and Mali T880 GPU. Several new features in the flagship include finger print processor and dual camera. But aside from the flagship model, Gizmo China reported that a larger variant will also be available, currently dubbed as the Huawei P9 Max.

The larger variant is rumored to be released with 6.2-inch display, with Kirin 950 CPU, as well as 4GB RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the Huawei P9 Max is also rumored to have larger battery than the other versions.

WFFC Tech also reported that a smaller version will also be released as well with 5.0-inch display. It is believed to be released with the same features as the two bigger variants but with smaller RAM at 3GB. All three variants are also speculated to be released with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow straight out of the box.

But it is also worth noting that these details have not been officially confirmed by Huawei as of yet, thus it must be treated with the proverbial grain of salt for now. More details on the specs and release of the Huawei P9 will be reported as information arrive in the next couple of months.
