‘Bourne 5’ is set to release its first official trailer during the ad break of the Super Bowl 50 on February 7. It is directed by Paul Greengrass and stars Matt Damon’s return to the franchise as the titular CIA assassin Jason Bourne. Alicia Vikander joins him as his newest leading lady.
‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ is an upcoming action-adventure and fantasy film starring Eddie Redmayne in the lead role. A new featurette teasing behind-the-scenes footage has been recently released. Redmayne expressed his enthusiasm over his new role and the fictional world created just for the film.
Ridley Scott’s sequel ‘Alien: Covenant’ is scheduled to begin filming in Australia on April 2016. Noomi Rapace, who played lead protagonist Dr. Elizabeth Shaw in the first ‘Prometheus’ film, will not be returning to reprise her role in the sequel.
‘The Mummy’ is an upcoming reboot of the original films of the same name and is scheduled to premiere in June 2017. Tom Cruise has signed on to play the newest lead protagonist. Principal photography is said to take place in Malta to double for the film’s setting in Iraq.
