A member of the Fianna Fáil, DCU student Brian Mohan lost on his case against the gender quotas pertaining to political party candidates during election. Mohan stated that they are moving forward with the case through an appeal.

Wells Fargo is set to pay $1.2 billion to settle the case claiming reckless lending practices during a program by the Federal Housing Administration. It is expected to affect the bank's 2015 expenses and reduce their profit. The settlement is set to be forwarded to the Justice Department.
