Syrians cast their votes for the new 250-member parliament in government-controlled areas. Syrians voted in designated polling stations in government-held areas of Syria for the election of new parliament.

The attacks of Saudi Arabia over Yemen recently shed light on another character in the story, and that is United Kingdom's weaponries. According to news reports, UK's weapons and in turn the British government are challenged regarding the issue of the breach on international humanitarian laws.

It is not quite often when news agencies are caught up in controversy for actually reporting a controversial topic.
