Alexandru Hossu filed a $45 million lawsuit claiming he was wrongfully accused of the rape. Hoss believes it was part of a a political vendetta and evidence for the case were altered and withheld.

Aside from the $115 million for damages awarded to Hulk Hogan last week, the retired pro-wrestler was granted another $25 million in punitive damages. Hogan sued a media website company, Gawker media, after publishing a sex video of him.

President Barrack Obama's announcement of his nominee for the new U.S. Supreme Court Justice as Merrick B. Garland, has stirred the Senate in their meetings, with Democrats trying to convince the Republicans, who have vowed to renounce any nomination, to to reverse course and instead hold confirmation hearings this year.
