"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks is filing a divorce from her husband Apollo NIda.

According to a report by KpopStarz, insiders revealed that the reality star would have made the move a long time ago if not for their children. However, she allegedly could no longer take it anymore.

"Phaedra and Apollo had their issues, even before he got caught up [in his legal drama]. Phaedra is a good and loving woman and she tried to stand by him, honor, and hold him down," a source spilled.

The insider added that Apollo's habit of leaving his family to drink and party without informing his wife.

Reports also suggest that Parks is angry at Nida for getting thrown in jail again. Rumors started flying when Parks did not show up for his husband's trial, sending out a message that she is ready for the divorce.

Nida was recently convicted to eight years imprisonment for stealing people's identities and committing multiple acts of fraud. He presently owes the victims $2 million.

A report of US Weekly stated that Nida is also angry at his wife for not supporting him. He doubts that their marriage will be able to make it through the crisis.

"I mean, my wife didn't even f**king show up for my sentencing. I'm still salty about that," Nida said.

Currently, new rumors are suggesting that the two are already divorced, but has not made it public yet. Media Takeout even posted photos of the makeover of Parks now that she is allegedly "single."

As of the moment, Parks is taking a leave absence from the "Real Housewives of Atlanta." Although it was speculated that she will be quitting the show, Inquisitr reported that TMZ confirmed that she is not. She is just currently focusing on their family business and their children.

Meanwhile, the site added that Nida is filming as many scenes as he can before he goes to jail.
