It seems like an impending trouble awaits Aaron "Hotch" Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) and the rest of the group, as former "Jericho" star Alicia Coppola makes her way in the upcoming tenth installment of "Criminal Minds."
According to TV Line, the 46-year-old television actress will be featured in the upcoming Season 10 of CBS's long running crime series. Appearing on the fourth episode of the show, Coppolla will play the character of Lisa Randall, a leader of a group that supports people with Morgellons syndrome. The outlet described Coppola's character as someone who is "willing to go as far as she can to protect group members privacy."
Aside from her long-time stint in "Jericho," Coppola has previously appeared in various TV shows including "The Nine Lives of Chloe King," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "Two and a Half Men," and "Teen Wolf."
Joining Coppola as new cast members of the show are "Ghost Whisperer" alumna Jennifer Love Hewitt, who will be a show regular as FBI agent Kate Callahan, and former "Dawson's Creek" star Kerr Smith, who will be a guest villain on the show.
Meanwhile, the official account of "Criminal Minds" in the social networking site Twitter has recently shared a myriad of snap shots of Gibson, as they are filming scenes for the show's season 10, told Enstars.
Captioned "Hotch faces his toughest case yet: 3rd graders. Get extras from #CriminalMinds," the most recent photo posted on Twitter showed the 52-year-old actor in character, frowning and wearing his typical BAU Chief coat and tie. Along with the photo is a link that leads to the website of CBS showing the full episode 22 of the show's previous season.
On an August 1 post, the production team of the show also shared another photo of Gibson, wearing an FBI vest.
"Can you guess what Thomas Gibson does when he is off-screen?," the caption read.
"Criminal Minds" season 10 is set to premiere on October 1 on CBS network.
