Leonardo DiCaprio gave girlfriend Toni Garrn her first movie appearance in "Under The Bed"; DiCaprio's environmental conservation efforts in Washington DC

22-year-old model Toni Garrn has landed her first film role in an independent movie called "Under The Bed."

The movie is being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio who also happens to be currently dating the young model.

The story is about a woman who is trying to get over a break up. While suffering from the heartache, a stalker befriends her on social media. Unknown to her, the stalker resides at her home.

The lead role will be played by Hannah New.

DiCaprio will be joined by Jennifer Killoran, Shawn Papazian, Mike Weber and Ted Field as co-producers. Daniel Myrick will be the one directing and writing the movie.

This, however, is not the first time that DiCaprio's girlfriend started an acting career while being with him.

According to Fashion & Style, Garrn is not DiCaprio's first girlfriend who has ventured into acting while still in a relationship with the actor.

Gisele Bundchen and Bar Refaeli both made their acting debuts while dating the "Wolf of Wall Street" actor. Bundchen first starred in"Taxi" while Refaeli appeared in Israeli TV series "Pick Me Up."

On other news, the couple was recently photographed enjoying a holiday vacation aboard a yacht in Ibiza, Spain.

They were seen being playful with each other, stripping off and jumping into the ocean.

Just recently, DiCaprio also showed his other side when he spoke at a US State Department conference called "The Ocean" in Washington, D.C.

"This isn't simply an exercise in wildlife conservation. If we don't do something to save the ocean now, it won't be just the sharks and the dolphins that suffer. It will be our children and our grandchildren," urged DiCaprio.

The actor, through his Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, has been actively participating in charity works particularly on environmental conservation.

"Today, I'm here to commit even more of my foundation's resources to this cause. I'm pledging an additional $7million to meaningful ocean conservation projects over the next two years," said the actor during the conference.
