'Bang Bang' actor ex-husband Hrithik Roshan settles divorce from Suzanne Khan with 380 crores deal

After Suzanne Khan and Hrithik Roshan announced the shocking news of their separation, the two are once again on the news mill after recent reports suggested that Khan is demanding a load of money from her ex-husband.

Citing a report by India Times, Khan purportedly demanded around 400 crores, or $66.567 million from Roshan as alimony after filing for divorce. In legal terms. an alimony is often referred to as spousal support ordered to the chief provider of the legally-wedded couple during the couple's marriage.

Mail Online has said that Roshan reportedly decided to compromise and agreed to settle at Rs 380 crore. If rumors of the alimony settlement are true, then Khan's and Roshan's deal would be considered as among the most expensive divorce settlements, easily surpassing those of Kelsey Grammer to his former wife Camille, Paul McCartney to Heather Mills and Donald Trump to Ivana.

Roshan announced Khan's decision to end their marriage on December 13 last year, a few days before they would have rang in their 13th marriage anniversary, according to a report by Fashion & Style.

"Suzanne has decided to separate from me and end our 17-year relationship," said Roshan. "This is a very trying time for the entire family and I request the media and the people to grant us our privacy at this time. I do not wish this news to disempower my fans and the people about the institution of marriage in any way. I am a firm believer in this institution and respect and honor it at the highest level."

Although Roshan might be saddenned about the breakup of his marriage with the interior decorator, it was reported that the actor is enjoying the single life after he was spotted clubbing with some friends in London.

A source told India Today, "Think girls are only attracted to bad boys, he's one good guy who has them swooning. And now that the world is his playground can't help wondering if he will play the field or get involved in a serious relationship."

Roshan and Khan had filed for a divorce at the Bandra family court earlier this year. Khan and Roshan have gracefully parted ways with no animosity towards each other. The Bollywood couple was last seen together during their son's birthday, three months after they filed the case, Mail Online said.
