‘Criminal Minds’ Season 10 Spoilers: Beatles’ Ringo Starr visits Joe Mantegna on the show’s set; New cast Jennifer Love Hewitt will be ‘schmoozing with a bad guy’, says producer Erica Messer

"Criminal Minds'" Joe Mantegna, who plays David Rossi recently posted a photo of him, Thomas Gibson (Hotch), and Ringo Starr, drummer of the iconic band Beatles, on his Twitter account. The said photo seemed to be captured as the cast are filming scenes for the 10th season of the hit CBS crime series, Enstarz reported.

During a fan interaction hosted by CBS, a fan asked Mantegna if given the opportunity, who will he choose to be a guest star for the upcoming season. He said that he is looking forward to a visit from Ringo Starr.

"I'd love to see Ringo Starr," Enstarz quoted the actor. Mantegna reminisced the first time he met the legendary musician during Grammys. He could still recall how Starr recognized him as cast member of the show and even jokingly asked, "Solving crimes lately?"

Mantegna also said that people may notice a photo of him and Starr on the desk of David Rossi in the series. Could this mean that fans may actually see Ringo Starr as a guest star in Season 10? If the producers are generous enough, they might actually work on this.

Meanwhile, new cast member Jennifer Love Hewitt, who will play the role of FBI undercover agent Kate Callahan will feature another side of the bureau that has never been seen before. She will be willing to embark on perilous missions and even be in a rubbing-elbow relationship with criminals just to solve a case.

"You see [Kate] doing something you don't see our 'team ever doing, which is schmoozing with a bad guy, working undercover to take a pedophile down," "Criminal Minds" producer Erica Messer said in an interview with TVLine. "We've never seen our team pretend to like a criminal, so right off the bat she's different in that way."

These and a lot more are in store for you in the upcoming premiere of "Criminal Minds" Season 10 on October 1.
