With almost a decade of fierce demon chasing under its belt, the long-running TV series "Supernatural" shows no indication of a series finale happening anytime soon.
As shooting for the tenth season of the series has commenced early this month, a lot of fans are worried about alleged looming series ender.
Finally putting all rumors to rest, "Supernatural" Co-executive Producer Jim Michaels clarified in his Twitter post that there are no discussions whatsoever about the upcoming season 10 as the last.
"There has been zero talk of season 10 being the last one ever," Michaels' tweet read.
The executive's statement echoes the decision of CW President Mark Pedowitz.
In a report posted by IGN, Pedowitz, a self-professed fan of the show, said that as long as he is part of the network, "Supernatural" can go as far as producers want.
"As fan of the show, who's seen every episode, as long as I'm here and those numbers hold, God bless them, said Pedowits at the Television Critics Association Press Tour last January. "They can go as long as they want."
Season 10 of "Supernatural" will include the series' 200th episode to be aired on its fifth episode.
Meanwhile, as the sci-fi series is slated to hit the airwaves again a few months from now , "Supernatural" Season 10 is reported to feature a hunter-turned-demon Dean Wichester, having an intense erotic connection with a waitress.
When the action-thriller series returns, Dean's younger brother Sam Winchester will embark in a search mission for his missing brother, who woke up with a pair of black eyes at the bunker of Men of Letters. But it seems like the newly-turned demon will immediately hit the road at make a stop a roadhouse, where he will stumble upon Ann Marie, a "tough but sympathetic" cocktail waitress.
